What a shame Bloc festival was, I was really really looking forward to that.
For everyone saying “aw no I just feel bad for all the artists that got booked”, nah fuck that bollocks, their management will have them covered, it’s the ordinary people like MYSELF who spent a hundred pounds of money I genuinely don;t have on a weekend ticket, who will try, but probably fail in getting a full refund.
Okay so the real issue lies in the UGLY hands of the Bloc festival organisers and staff, they deliberately over-sold at least 12 thousand tickets than the site capacity could handle down to pure greed and wanting to book a venue that they knew they couldnt afford or handle; that shit is corrupt. They booked artists they knew they couldnt handle and most of these artists are truly disgusted judging by their recent twitter updates.
Somebody (at least one person) has DIED due to this “over-selling” of tickets, and I can only imagine and hope the organisers feel truly disgusted at themselves for what they have allowed themselves to do and carry out. Somebodies life has been ended because of pure greed and unorganisement and that is a true shame.
I’m gutted about this but at the end of the day I have been informed by the met police themselves that I am entitled to a full refund (around £300 worth of tickets) and I can only hope that happens. It’s the peoples’ family who has had their loved one killed due to a pure shambles and BLOC festival now have that on their conscience for the rest of their career, name and time.
