Home from Outlook Festival
And once again that was one of the best weeks of my life. The festival was on the same levels as last year (I did not over-hype it, it definitely lived up to expectations again). Good music, good people, good surroundings. I couldn’t possibly tell you what the best part of it was because I keep remembering little bits and laughing to myself, for instance meeting P Money and running up to him like “we speak in slang like thissssssss” and just creasing at me. Although the Critical Sound boat party was probably the overall peak point of the festival… just that feeling of being so lucky to be there and a part of it, the intimacy of the party made it unforgettable.
The best sets I saw were Phaeleh, DBridge, Jubei, Enei, Spectrasoul, SPY, Friction, Serial Killaz, Jackmaster and Disclosure. When Disclosure were on at the main stage it was absolutely pouring down with rain, as well as standing in the middle of a thunder storm, but the atmosphere and vibes just made it sensationally good, everyone was so happy and they definitely played an honourable set. Jackmaster’s set was also sick and I think he’s the only guy who could get away with dropping Climax by Usher in the middle of an obscure-ish set and still sound amazing (that was such a sick moment in time).
I also met Alix Perez, who has always been one of my favourite producers but he was so unnecessarily rude I no longer rate him at all.
I miss Croatia so much now, I miss the music, the atmosphere, the people, the excitement… Outlook festival is genuinely my favourite thing on this planet and it probably always will be…

In 16 days I will be lying on a stretcher in a coma in a dodgey european hospital… I can’t wait!!!!!!

Fuck it, instead of wasting time caring about petty bullshit I am going to focus my time thinking about the one thing that I am most excited about and that is OUTLOOK FESTIVAL. In all seriousness nothing else even matters cause I have the most amazing thing in the world booked with my best friends and the overwhelming excitement for it overwrites all other shitty emotions lol.
The boat party line-ups have been announced and they are all SO unbelievably good. Having serious dilemmas tryna decide which ones to go on, other than Skream & Plastician’s BOOZE CRUISE, which is a MUST.
